MARKE & BUSINESS

Logodesign oder Corporate Design: was braucht ein neues Unternehmen?

A logo is one asset. A visual identity also defines colour, typography and repeatable rules. Choose the scope based on where the brand must work.

A logo does not answer every visual decision a business will face. If the mark immediately needs to work across a website, PDF offers, social media, presentations and packaging, a small identity system can prevent repeated ad-hoc decisions.

When a logo is enough

A small business may start with a strong mark, light/dark variants, vector and raster exports, colour values and a basic safe-area rule.

When identity is worth it

Use a broader identity when several channels launch at once, multiple people create materials or the brand needs consistent typography, colour and composition beyond the logo.

What logo files should include

Keep master vectors, web-ready raster versions, light/dark variants and clear colour references. Do not rely on one low-resolution PNG.

Do not buy a brand book for decoration

A large document only creates value when the business has enough real use cases to need the rules. Start smaller if the brand is still testing its offer.

Brief around business use

Explain the offer, customers, competitors, applications, constraints and what visual directions must be avoided. “Make it premium” is not a sufficient strategy.
