An SEO audit should identify what blocks visibility and which fixes matter first. A list of missing meta descriptions is not enough when the real problem can be indexing, duplicate URLs, weak architecture or conflicting canonical signals.
Crawlability and indexing
Check robots.txt, noindex directives, HTTP status codes, XML sitemaps, canonicals and the URL Inspection report in Search Console. Important pages must be reachable and indexable.
Architecture and cannibalization
Assign one clear owner page to each important intent. If several URLs target the same purpose, decide whether to differentiate, merge or redirect them.
Titles, headings and useful content
Titles and H1 headings should describe the same topic without becoming a keyword list. The body should answer real user questions and use terminology naturally.
Internal linking
Navigation, category pages and guides should link directly to canonical target URLs. Descriptive anchors help users and crawlers understand relationships between pages.
Performance and mobile experience
Review LCP, INP and CLS together with image delivery, scripts, fonts and layout stability. Separate server bottlenecks from front-end issues before optimizing.
Use Search Console data instead of guessing
Analyse impressions, queries, CTR, indexed pages and the URLs Google already associates with a topic. Improve existing signals before creating more near-duplicate pages.
