A good website is designed around a business goal and a user journey before anyone chooses colours or installs plugins. The safest process fixes structure, content, technical SEO and measurement before launch instead of repairing them afterwards.

Start with the goal and the audience

Decide what the website must achieve: enquiries, sales, product presentation, lead generation or support for an existing sales process. Define the primary audience and the main action before designing the interface.

Build the information architecture first

Map the main pages, service hierarchy, navigation and internal-link relationships. Each important page should own a clear search intent instead of competing with several near-duplicate pages.

Design a reusable visual system

Set typography, spacing, colours, buttons, cards and responsive behaviour as a system. Decorative elements should support content hierarchy rather than compete with it.

Implement WordPress and responsive states

Build navigation, forms, reusable components and mobile layouts. Test common viewport widths, keyboard access, forms, sticky elements and overflow before launch.

Prepare technical SEO before publication

Use final readable URLs, one clear H1, unique titles and descriptions, self-canonicals, an XML sitemap, indexable robots directives and structured data only where it reflects visible content.

Launch with analytics and a QA gate

Connect Search Console and analytics, test forms and conversions, check status codes and redirects, review Core Web Vitals and keep a rollback path. Publishing is the beginning of measurement, not the end of the project.
